Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.

Hello everybody, it's the beginning of spring break here in small southern town, USA.The sun is shining and it is almost a balmy 72 degrees. Can you hear the birds singing? God is so good to give us one day without 30-40 mile an hour winds and sand blowing. It is so quiet here right now I can almost hear my thoughts outloud. All of WE's and my grandchildren are somewhere else and having a great spring break. WE is golfing and I'm supposed to be working around here and will do so in a bit.

I am you see, an afternoon and evening worker! Of course if I happen to turn on the tv and there is a Jimmy Stewart or John Wayne movie on I am stuck until they are over.

The beginning of my afternoon was to get behind the wheel of WE's truck and have him chain a tractor to the back so he could get it started. It's sat there with no action for too long. Anyway my statement was "don't holler at me if I do it wrong". His statement was "all you have to do is pull the tractor", um-hum! I was to get the truck up to about 15 mph and he would pop the clutch, nope that didn't work. So we get on the paved road and try again, nope again. So we go down to end where we can make a turn to just pull the thing home - and yep it worked, without popping anything!!! No jerk, no fuss, and I didn't get hollered at, yippie!! Always a first time for everything right!

So then I get back in house and oh oh, another Jimmy Stewart movie on - well I am on vacation so I sit down again. Being the thankful person I am, I decided that I am thankful for having a choice of doing what I want. Now God, you see, is letting me know that this is not a need so I had better wish everyone a beautiful Saturday afternoon and get to the church to pick up and clean a little for His message in the morning. This is a need!

Much sunshine and Gods love to you all, here's wishing all of my children a wonderful few days somewhere else from West Texas where it is very unusual not to have any wind nor sand blowing us up the road. Hugs to family, see you soon.

Until next time the word to be is NIMBLE: quick & light/agile/clever. This is my hope that my brain will figure out exactly what I need to do on here next. May God Bless

"Prattling"

Howdy, this time I just have an introduction of "me, us".

Starting with a Word of the Day: Nitty-Gritty <> "what is essential or Basic".

Wow, that's me, the word of the day - I'm LE - and I just figured what my niche in life is!! I'm essential because God sees fit to have me still on earth; basic because I have all essentials of basic things needed. My niche is "prattling" and is called this because I'm putting random thoughts down, a "blog" if you will. Yes, I guess I am a little slow at catching on. As can most other grandparents with 5 1/4 babies give advice so do I. Although my children, including daughter-in-law and son-in-law know, they can take it or leave it. Being of the woman gender I have plenty to share so I thought I would try this so my family doesn't have to hear it all.

If you are interested, my life is as follows, if not you can skip my blog - I'm not a mandatory person as you will soon see! We live in one of he southern states of the USA and are country folks. I'm 65 years old, initials as stated above LE, or to my lovely grandchildren a "Nene". My husband WE, or "Papa" is six months younger than myself, although to hear him tell it - much younger!

We have one daughter MB, married to my favorite son-in-law also MB (no not the same first name). They have our two oldest grandbabies, APB & KR. Our two others, twin boys (men now of course) are JA and JR. JR, the youngest, is married to my favorite daughter-in-law VA and they have 3 children, all girls - TA, MA & KK; with another one due on 10/10/10 - how about that.....but of course daddy (JR) wants this next one to be of the male species to carry on "Papa's" name. Although it would break up JR's softball team if that happens, right!

Now on to the first born twin JA. He has a great sense of humor, takes things to heart and is particular with all that he has worked hard for. He is not married and says not in any hurry to do so. Me being his mother is hoping he is not waiting for all of his female qualifications to be meant, this just won't happen. So I will be patient and will wait on God to put someone in his life, or not. You know the older one gets the more one looks for perfecion in a significant other. Hopefully he never gets older!

I cannot in all actuality leave the other species of our family out. We have two donkeys, Cootie and Jackson that I love but not many others do. Then there are three dogs, plus one from neighbor that eats our dog food when we're not looking, and two cats.

I do work outside of the home in a high school setting as an aide. I am so blessed in having my own room and, in my book, the most rewarding of all rooms. It is called the OCS (On Campus Suspension). I will elaborate in more detail at another time because the students that come in here need to be heard more on the serious side.

Like I said this prattle niche is my blessing from God, first because I love Him and have an opportunity to say so. Second - I can be myself at times when I feel those blessings are of a funny...more serious...or of a quiet filled nature. All making a human full of life. I'm hoping I have contributed to a smile for you today. A motto to follow at my age is: change = challenge = life and living of that life - only through God's Word. I'm in the last season of living my life & putting it in words hopefully with a positive attitude, leaving the negative out of the equation.

Until next time, I leave you with a fun ( not sure how true) fact: 'An ostrich's eye is bigger than it's brain.' Who would have "thunk" it! May God Bless
